New Mexico C.S. Schools

The University of New Mexico: There are Bachelors, Masters and PhDs for Computer Science at UNM.
In the Bachelor's program, students will learn both the practical and theoretical components of computer science and software engineering. They will be able to earn a living with this knowledge, (implying then that whether it's a career or a variety of jobs, students who go through the CS program will find professional work as alumni. Students in the program will also be able to do graduate study in computer science and software engineering.
Potentially not as important, UNM's CS Bachelor program also claims to provide students with the skills necessary for life-long learing.



New Mexico Tech: New Mexico Tech offers a Minor, a Bachelor's, a Master's, and a PhD in Computer Science. Additionally, there is a Bachelor's in Information Technology. Courses are involved in both theoretical and applied computer science.
Graduates of the Bachelor's in CS will be prepared for industry employment and graduate study.
The computer science department is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission Unit of ABET Inc. Consistently, the CS department has been ranked high by publications such as U.S. News and World Report.
